For all you Hendrix fans our there, Guitar World magazine featured a duo-tone photo mosaic of Jimi Hendrix. The mosaic is made up of different Hedrix images throughout his historic career.

The cover was in tribute to the 40th year anniversary of his first hit album that changed rock and roll forever.

On April 29th 2008, Hershey unveils a preview of Memorial Dale Earnhardt Mosaic. This 6-foot by 8-foot mosaic was created using more than 1,400 fan submitted photos.

The final mosaic, which will be completed at a later date, will serve as a permanent tribute to Earnhardt and be on display at DEI. Here are a few links to read more about the mosaic and to see a few pics from the unveiling:

The newest thing to hit the photo mosaic world are video (or animation) mosaics. You may have see them on TV comercials and movie trailers. The High Definition standard (1920×1080 pixels) has allowed clarity and resoltuion that allows video mosaics to live up to their full potential (compared to standard def).
